With a modern outsole which is easy to use, the shoes represent a leading option for those seeking top grip with maximum flexibility. For this reason, they use the popular Tri-Flex design which is recommended when it comes to top flexibility and which has been proven in Saucony’s latest designs. Even more, the outsole is also capable of maintaining grip after miles and miles.

There is no surprise in the midsole department as it is dominated by the Everun technology. With cushioning for the entire length of the shoe with an 8mm offset, the midsole comes with a good heel to toe transition, which might be similar to what you can find in premium Saucony designs. But the midsole works great with the flexible outsole to offer a profile which favors flexibility over rigidity.

The upper features mesh materials which are often used by Saucony from the beginning of the series. With limited overlays and the included Flexfilm technology, the shoes represent a comfortable option, even if this impact the overall weight which is not the most competitive at 269gr.

Made with a practical design, the upper represents an interesting solution for those seeking better support for the heel as well. With a padded collar and tongue, the upper of the Ride 10 is also up to date when it comes to the comfort during the long-running sessions.

With one of the most affordable mid-range designs in their class, the shoes represent a viable option for the modern runner. With a checklist for all major indicators of performance, Saucony managed to deliver a top solution for the beginner and average runner. They might not be at a level which allows tope materials to be used in the main areas of the design but even so, they represent a comfortable solution to be considered even a few times per week.

The upper of the shoes are among the areas which are worth mentioning when it comes to upgrades. If you are coming from the previous design, you also need to know that the upper is still limited in width, which means the shoes are best for normal feet. This being said, the use of the woven heel design can only indicate an improved attention to detail and heel lockdown.

Even if the upper is quite roomy in the forefoot, the shoes are still a worthy upgrade for the fans of the series as Saucony introduced its latest technologies in the shoes. Furthermore, the manufacturer might not offer the most innovative individual design, but it does offer a solution if you want to experiment with its latest technologies. The color options are not bad either. With combinations such as the red/navy and the grey/slime, the shoes are up to date in terms of looks as well.

Size And Fit

Made true to size, the Ride 10 shoes offer a good fit for most users. The available width is marked as a medium which means that it should fit most people very well. With available half sizes, the shoes can also be adjusted better for improved comfort and stability.

With quality materials, the shoes feel as if they are truly premium. There is an improved heel counter on the shoes which makes them feel more stable as well. Saucony placed the counter higher this time and it seems to work better. The shoes also come with breathable materials with mesh ventilation in the forefoot which is great for the longer runs out in the sun. While the forefoot is still roomy, it is not as bulky as it once was which allows you to run faster as well. The look of the shoes is impressive as well, with an impressive range of colors to consider.

With padding on the heel, tongue and ankle collar, the shoes feel really comfortable. But at the same time, they don’t feel too heavy which is great when you want to run the distance. The support is fantastic. It is based on foam cushioning and it reacts very well across multiple surfaces which makes the shoes a top solution when you seek versatility. If you want to run at a faster pace, the shoes are also recommended. They fit well and they do not allow your feet to wobble which is recommended at higher speeds.
