The shoes are among the best solutions if you are looking for a combination between stability and lightweight. It is why they feel so great on the feet and why they represent one of the most appealing solutions when it comes to running. With reinforced eyelets, the shoes are also great for lockdown. You can go for that precise fit which is often recommended when you want to push your own limits in terms of speed. The traction is reliable as well and it represents a design which is great for grip across multiple surfaces with its asymmetrical look.

With soft foam and added air cushioning, the shoes represent one of the best options for runners of all levels. I like the combination of foam and air cushioning which feels great when it comes to running for miles and miles as there are less friction and reduced impact on my joints. At the same time, the shoes feel quite lightweight which enhances the natural strides. Even if they also come with overlays, the shoes are highly recommended for those seeking improved results with breathability, especially when running out in the sun or in space with low ventilation, such as in the gym.

Updates

Among the Air Zoom choices, the Structure 21 represents a good solution for many people, especially those who like simple designs. But there is more than just an appealing design that the shoes can offer. Nike added a new rubber design on the outsole and differentiated zone cushioning for the best arch support.

While the outsole of the shoes is the same with the Structure 20, the cushioning is different. Of course, the increased 10mm drop also means that runners have to deal with a reduced flexibility of the midsole. If you want the best torsion, the shoes might not be the option for you.

With a wider forefoot, the shoes are among the recommended options for overpronators. If you like to run without the snuggest feel in the forefoot, the Structure 21 represents one of the options to consider. Even Structure 19 and Structure 20 runners can see benefits from the upgrade. But if you are not fully convinced, the Structure 22 can be one of the options to expect and fix the otherwise roomier collar.

Outsole

The outsole of the shoes features durable rubber which should last for miles and miles. Among its interesting characteristics comes the same rubber rail on the exterior side of the foot. But the Dynamic support is one of the interesting additions which allow you to have the best stride with proper arch support. Since the shoes come with plenty of rubber on the outsole, they are a recommended solution when it comes to running indoors and mostly outdoors.

Midsole

The midsole of the shoe is not the thinnest due to the Air Zoom technology. With the full-length support of the underfoot, the air support in combination with foam support proves to be a winning combination. However, this technology also limits the midsole from its best flexibility. It can be an issue, especially if you are coming from shoes which are very flexible.

Upper

With a Flymesh design, the shoes have no overlays and they are made for proper breathability. With a traditional tongue, they are also quick to fit. The good news is that when you want a better lockdown, you can make the most out of the Flywire design. Some runners with narrow feet also feel that the heel collar might be a bit lose for them.

Size And Fit

True to size, the shoes are a good choice for runners with normal feet. Even those with low arches can benefit from the added support of the Dynamic fit design. With added Air Zoom cushioning, people with flat feet can really feel comfortable running in the shoes.
