Outsole

There is nothing innovative about the outsole of the shoes as Adidas already uses the same material on other models. This being said, the durability and the responsiveness of the design is what recommends the shoes on different types of flat surfaces. With proper grip and leading durability, the shoes can even be considered when running on rain as they offer plenty of stability.

Midsole

There is no doubt that the midsole of the shoes comes with 10mm of impressive cushioning. The Ultra Boost cushioning is 20% more shock-absorbing than the standard Boost technology. Made from thousands of TPU pellets, the cushioning is perfect for race day or for those who are seeking excellence. At the same time, the midsole is also flexible. Part of this added flexibility is based on the built-in Torsion system which is highly recommended when it comes to improved overall innovation and transition from the toes to the heel.

Upper

The upper is also one of the stronger points of the Ultraboost. This is where you will immediately notice the Primeknit materials which follow the contour of the foot and which allow for good moisture control with long running sessions. With added plush comfort, they can be an option when you are looking to cover miles after miles.

But the upper is also combined with a comfortable insole. With a padded collar, the shoes are a recommended solution to keep your skin free from irritation and your feet free from pain. The heel area is also marked by the small counter and lateral support which enhances the stability of the neutral pronation runner. The upper is dominated by generous padding which means it puts comfort above everything else.

Updates

The Primeknit design of the Ultraboost makes them an attractive solution for many types of users. But beyond their appealing looks, the shoes also work well when it comes to the response they give on the road, on the track or in the gym.

Aimed to be 20% better than the Boost models, the Ultraboost represent a top choice if you need better shock absorption. Even more, the premium Primeknit upper hugs the foot for the ultimate comfort which stays constant even after miles of running. With the help of the rugged outsole, you can run on most roads and you can even take the shoes on some trails which are smoother as well.

Size And Fit

Made to suit the needs of most runners, the shoes are true to size. If your feet are of a normal width, you will find the shoes comfortable both for the men’s and for the women’s versions. With proper lockdown on the midfoot and plenty of room in the forefoot, the shoes are unexpectedly roomy for most runners.

The Ultraboost is already one of the most popular choices from Adidas. With an impressive design which appeals to runners and casual wear outfits, the shoes are a top choice for the fans of the manufacturer. They can be tight, as many Adidas shoes. This is why it is recommended to go down half a size for that perfect fit. With top levels of cushioning and responsiveness, the shoes can be used across a wide range of surfaces and they can also be worn every day. The upper is distinct as well as it keeps creases away. At the same time, the shoes are also a bit heavier than the average mesh alternative.

Made with a solid opaque midfoot cage, the shoes feel sturdy and supportive. Unlike the translucent cage, it can also blend in well with the rest of the shoe. But the Ultraboost is improved in the knit design which can be a worthy upgrade from the previous version. The inside of the shoe is made to a high standard as well. With the same soft feel and the same insole which follows the contour of your foot, you can count on the shoes to maintain comfort even when you run longer.
