Outsole

With quality rubber materials, the outsole of the shoes is among the most innovative designs from Adidas. Made in collaboration with Continental, the outsole of the shoes is very durable. With durability which is similar to tires, the outsole is ready to be taken out on different surfaces around the city, in the park or at the gym. Made in combination with the Stretchweb design, the outsole is also protective against shocks. If you are not running at lower speeds on a treadmill, the technology can prove really useful.

Midsole

The midsole of the shoes comes with impressive innovation. For many runners, it is among the top choices, especially if you are concerned about recycling. But the innovative TPU pressed pellets to offer a good overall solution when it comes to a bouncy response. At the same time, the material reacts well to extreme temperatures. This makes the shoes a great choice for running during winter or summer. Shock absorption is great in the midsole as well, especially as it is combined with the Solar Propulsion Rail which has a major role in evenly distributing shocks when needed. If you don’t have low arches, the support of the shoes is great for absorbing these shocks as well.

Upper

The upper is also a place where innovative technologies meet. With mesh and knit materials which come with fibers that are close together, the shoes offer an improved overall perspective, especially in the conditions in which natural second-skin feel is not easy to achieve with combined materials. An interesting added element comes with the protective toe cap which can be a great injury-prevention addition. When you run for miles and miles, your feet get tired and this is when you are prone to accidents. This is why the toe cap can be a great addition.

Updates

The running shoes are among the most interesting options from the manufacturer. As one of the distinct solutions, they are made for those who appreciate the overall cushioning, breathability and comfort. They are also among the first options from Adidas which are made with recycled materials for a lower environmental impact.

There are a few notable upgrades, especially in the outsole. This is where Adidas did a great job with Continental and with the Stretchweb design, they offer the type of compound which combines good traction with great shock-absorption capabilities. It is also true that the shoes are largely impacted by the Solar Rail technology which has a crucial role in proper shock absorption by dispersion.

Size And Fit

The fit of the shoes is precise. You will not have to struggle in order to find your true size. But on the other hand, you might also want to look at using your own orthotics if you want the extra arch support.

Often confused between a casual and a running shoe, the Solarboost work great for both situations. They are easy to use with their extra durability and with the impressive design. Even the midfoot is different from what you might expect. Instead of the classic overlays, you get a tailored fiber which is actually made from recycled plastic. But even in these conditions, the midfoot is still stiff which recommends the shoes for running, not just as a comfortable casual everyday solution. However, this means that they might not be as comfortable as some other shoes, such as the Ultraboost. But for running purposes, they are a true durable design.

The stretch mesh upper makes the shoes come with a unique feel. Some days it even feels as smooth as neoprene. But these materials allow for a natural socklike feel. It is specifically true for the toe are which feel very flexible and stretchy. I also like the performance of the shoes on a different surface. The overall rigidity of the midfoot offers plenty of support on tight turns, which is great when running in different locations every day. When running on hard surfaces, you also notice that there is a good amount of spring in the midfoot and forefoot areas, which is coupled with solid cushioning.
